Grandbabies

Kirk and Melanie begat Hudson Ryan Davis, Willy and Deanna’s first grandchild on 15 July, 2015 in Houston, Texas.  Hudson's birth specifications were 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and 21.5 inches.  A second grandson, from Chad and Jamie is due on 29 February 2016!  If they hit the due date, that child will age slowly!

Travel

Willy traveled more this year than any other, about 200 flights.  He made Executive Platinum status for the first time on American Airlines, in August, by exceeding 100,000 miles in a year.  Deanna and Willy went to Houston to visit Kirk Melanie and Hudson in July and over Christmas.  Willy's mom and Luke's family joined them in July. Willy and Deanna visited Chad, Jamie and the “bump” on Thanksgiving in Nassau.  Willy attended his 40th high school class reunion in Pickerington, Ohio.  Willy also went to Miami many times, and Accra, Ghana for a couple weeks. On the way to take a short class in Butte, Montana and Kellogg, Idaho, Willy was able to meet old friend Tom Stainner for breakfast.  Willy went to Curaçao frequently, and gave a swim class to a local there.  He also went to Tegucigalpa, La Ceiba, and Roatan, Honduras.

Visitors

Pete and Pilar Robinson & kids came for a day via cruise ship.  The Gleasons came for a week.  Nephew Austin and Melanie came with some friends.  We help our guests to be in or on the water.

Fishing

Sad to say the sailboat "Deanna" passed away but has been replaced with a small aluminum rowboat.  Willy frequently goes out alone, but loves to take people fishing.  Deanna likes to fish but seldom goes in the boat due to motion sickness.  But when she shows up, so do the fish. Deanna got the biggest fish either of us have ever caught, which was a Crevalle Jack.

Training

Willy has enjoyed teaching Jiu-Jitsu on a regularly at multiple locations, including Krav Maga Cayman, the Cayman Fight Factory, and K-Fit.  Ronnie James Hughes, head instructor for Krav Maga Cayman, honored Willy by naming an inspiration award after Willy, and allowing him to present it to one of the students.
